General Science The most hands-on experiential way to have fun with science
Taught by: Kim Lockman and Michelle Nowak
Our Applied Science class offers students a chance to earn science credit through a hands-on course designed to learn science skills that apply to real life. Each day the students transition through multiple modules. The 42 minute class is broken down into 10 minute blocks/modules. During each 10 minute module students will experience a variety of different activities. We incorporate team building skills to create a family type atmosphere where students can learn in a safe environment. This allows students to feel comfortable enough to try new things without feeling afraid to fail and try again. You can often see us in the hallways or outside playing crazy cooperative games or engaging in large-scale experiments. You will never be bored in this class and you will come away with science knowledge that will blow people's minds. Keep checking back with us to see what we are up to...
